TRADE NOTICE No.1/2001

Sub: Setting up of on-line grievance redressal /telephonic complaint centre in Calicut Commissionerate-Reg.

 

The assessees /public are hereby informed that an "On-line Grievance Redressal /Complaint Centre" has been established at the Hqrs. of the Calicut Commissionerate with effect from 01/01/2001. The details of set up and services offered by the above centre are as follows:-

  • The Superintendent of Central Excise (PRO) of the Commissionerate Hqrs. Office, will be the proper officer in charge of the Centre.

  • A direct Telephone No: (0495) 722508 has been provided for the Centre.

  • The assessees /public may register their grievances/ complaints at the centre on the above telephone number or in person / writing, simultaneously furnishing their full/postal address and telephone number etc.

  • Acknowledgement of the grievances / complaints registered at the Centre, will be issued by communicating the running serial number of the entry made in the Register maintained by the Centre for this purpose.

  • The grievances / complaints registered at the centre, will be enquired into/ action taken as quickly as possible and final replies will be sent to the complainant within 30 working days from the date of registration.

  • The Centre will function under the direct control and supervision of the Additional Commissioner (P&V) at the Hqrs. Office.

2. It is, however, made clear that anonymous / pseudonymous grievances/ complaints
will not be accepted / registered by the Centre.
