HELP CENTRE,
REGIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
AND PUBLIC GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

With
effect from 01.07.2005 the Help Centre for taxpayers of
Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax, has been
functioning at the Malabar Chamber of Commerce premises.

Regional
Advisory Committee meetings with trade representatives are
held regularly, at quarterly intervals.
In order to settle
the grievance of the public expeditiously, a Public Grievance
Committee has been constituted at Central Excise Headquarters
Office, Calicut.
The Commissioner of Central Excise will be ex-officio Chairman
of the Committee and Additional Commissioner (Tech) will be the
Vice-Chairman of the Committee.
The Committee will meet on all 2nd Wednesday of every month at
11.00 am.
The venue of the meeting will be:
Office of the Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs
& Service Tax
Central Revenue Building, Mananchira, Calicut - 673 001.
The Committee will take up/discuss the grievances of the
trade/public.
All the members of the Trade/Public may utilise this facility
and get their grievances redressed through Public Grievance
Committee.
